Fans often wish to know what goes inside the dressing rooms of their favourite sports teams. The iconic docu-series ‘The Test’ has given everyone this opportunity to witness what goes about in the dressing room of the Australia men’s cricket team.
The first season of the series captivated audiences, and Season 2 attempts to provide an intimate look at the Australian team following the scandal and resignation of their then-captain Tim Paine. Paine took over as captain after the ball-tampering scandal in which Steve Smith, vice-captain David Warner, and Cameron Bancroft were found to be guilty.
The docuseries will reveal some of the rumblings that may have occurred between Justin Langer, the head coach of the Australian men’s team at the time, and the group of players. The trailer implies that there was some dissatisfaction among the team members with Langer’s approach.

Within 12 weeks, the Australian team had lost both its captain, Tim Paine, and its coach, Justin Langer. Andrew McDonald was named Australia’s head coach after Langer refused to accept a short-term contract extension in February of this year.
McDonald served as interim coach before his contract was extended for another four years in April. Pat Cummins was named captain, and the circumstances were;t ideal for anyone to take charge. However, the Australians won that series, restoring stability to this team after a relatively turbulent period.
