Ravichandran Ashwin, the mastermind cricketer, was caught in a hilarious moment on the field during the India-Zimbabwe clash of the 20-20 World Cup 2022. The two teams faced each other in their final Super 12 stage encounter.
During the toss at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Ashwin was seen checking his Indian team tracksuit. He was also seen sniffing his clothes while he stood in the background of the Indian captain. The all-rounder appeared completely unaware that he was being caught on camera. The video of the same has gone viral all over the internet.

As for the game, India comfortably won the match by 71 runs. Batting first, the Men in Blue had some spectacular performances. KL Rahul got the team off to a great start as he scored his second half-century of the tournament. He scored 51 runs in 35 balls, with three boundaries and three sixes in his innings.
Suryakumar Yadav, on the other hand, was the match’s star, as his shots left everyone speechless. In just 25 balls, he scored 61 runs at a strike rate of 244 runs, with six fours and four hits over the rope. Thanks to his spectacular innings, he helped India get to a huge total of 186/5.
Zimbabwe lost wickets at regular intervals during the chase, putting them under pressure. Sikandar Raza (34 runs in 24 balls) and Ryan Burl (35 runs in 22 balls) played some important knocks, but that was not enough to get them through. In the end, the team was restricted to 115/10, handing India a 71-run victory.
Ravichandran Ashwin’s three-wicket spell was the pick of the bowlers for the Men in Blue. Mohammed Shami and Hardik Pandya each took two wickets, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Arshdeep Singh, and Axar Patel each took one.
India ended as the topper in Group 2 of the Super 12 Stages with this win. They will now face Jos Buttler’s England in the sem-finals of the tournament. The Adelaide Oval will host the match on the 10th of November.
