Former English skipper Kevin Pietersen has been very vocal about his views time and again. Post his retirement from international cricket, he has gone on record several times to speak about his experiences as a batter. He keeps grabbing the headlines with his comments, and critical analyses.
Recently, he has come out with a video in which he is teaching how to play the spinners. He also hit a switch hit on Ravi Shastri during this session. English sports broadcaster Sky Sports has tweeted this video. Former Indian head coach Ravi Shastri and former English skipper Naseer Hussain can also be seen in this video alongside KP.

In this video, Pietersen is batting in the nets and guiding the ways of playing against the spinners. He can be seen mentoring the modern-day greats to improve their techniques against spin bowling. He mentioned a few names including the likes of former Indian skipper Virat Kohli and former English skipper Joe Root.
“I’m looking for the length and I’m making sure that every single shot is actually a run-making shot,” the 42-year-old said in the video when he was in conversation with two former veterans of the game including the likes of Ravi Shastri and Naseer Hussain.

Pietersen himself appeared in 104 Test matches and 136 ODIs for the national side of England. The South Africa-born batter scored 32 international centuries and 60 international half-centuries in his nine-year career. He scored runs with an average of 47.28 and 40.73 in Tests and ODIs respectively.
Notably, India and England are currently playing the rescheduled fifth Test match. The match is underway on its fourth day as England is chasing the target of 377 posted by the Indian team in the second Innings.
Earlier, India got all-out on 245 in the second innings, thanks to the half-centuries from senior batter Cheteshwar Pujara and Rishabh Pant. They both played innings of 66 and 57 respectively.
Following this test match, both teams will lock horns in the limited-overs series which will consist of three T20Is and the same number of ODI fixtures.
