Shikhar Dhawan didn’t perform too well in the ODI series against Zimbabwe. The southpaw couldn’t post those mammoth scores on the board, failing to live up to the billing. In the ongoing third ODI, his strike rate, once again, grabbed the eyeballs as he amassed 40 runs in 68 balls. Dhawan scored those runs at a dismal strike rate of 58.82.

However, the experienced campaigner makes sure that his performances on the field don’t reflect on his demeanor off it. He presents himself as someone who likes to live in the moment and tries to give smiles on the faces of his fans.

Usually, he entertains his fans by uploading funny videos on his Instagram handle. On Monday, during the third ODI, he did something, which, once again, grabbed everyone’s attention. Dhawan’s antics, while sitting in the dressing room, got captured and was also uploaded on social media and it didn’t take too long for the video to get viral.

During the first innings, the camera spotted a person, who was sitting with a placard in his hand, which read, ‘Shikhar, can I have your shirt?’ Upon watching that, Dhawan left everyone surprised as he pretended to remove his shirt.

His fellow teammates as well as the commentators were left in splits after watching the hilarious incident. Alan Wilkins, in the commentary, added, “Go along, Shikhar. Make a donation.”

Meanwhile, India have won the third ODI by 13 runs to register a 3-0 series whitewash. After winning the toss and opting to bat first, India notched 239 runs in the first innings. Shubman Gill starred with the bat as he scored his maiden ODI century. He played a match-winning knock of 115 runs in 95 balls, including 9 fours and 3 sixes.

In pursuit of the target, Zimbabwe fought hard with the bat and took the game till the very last over. 15 runs were needed in the last over but Avesh Khan held on to his nerves and gave just 1 run and a wicket to help India win the game by 13 runs.
