MS Dhoni’s positive attitude shines wherever he goes. The former Indian cricket team captain, known for leading the team to victory in the 2011 ODI Cricket World Cup and the 2007 T20 Cricket World Cup, is also recognized for his sharp cricketing mind. While he’s retired from international cricket, he’s still playing for the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League. As the 2023 ODI Cricket World Cup approaches, Indian cricket fans hope that Rohit Sharma’s team can replicate Dhoni’s 2011 success.

This time, Rohit Sharma and his team are shouldering India’s hopes in the Cricket World Cup. India hasn’t won any apex event since 2013, and hosting the Cricket World Cup presents a fantastic chance to change that. Playing at home comes with a lot of pressure. Former Australian wicketkeeper and World Cup winner, Adam Gilchrist, had some valuable advice for the Indian cricket team.

Recently, MS Dhoni was spotted in a different role, joining a procession to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi in 2023. The video of this moment has gone viral.

Here’s the viral video:

Adam Gilchrist’s MS Dhoni-related advice for India

Recently, former Australia wicketkeeper Adam Gilchrist had some MS Dhoni-related advice for the India Cricket Team. He was asked by Sportstar, “What will your advice be for the youngsters like Gill and Ishan Kishan, who will be playing their first ODI World Cup at home?”

He replied, “I can’t claim to know what it is like to be an Indian player, playing in India (laughs). It’s always intriguing. If I would be in the Indian hierarchy, I would be tapping into guys like Sachin (Tendulkar), MS (Dhoni) to come in and spend time with the group if they are available, and pass on all their experience.”

Notably, MS Dhoni is expected to take part in the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League. He had a running knee issue during IPL 2023 and underwent surgery shortly after leading the Chennai Super Kings to their fifth title in 2023. He’d be expected to complete his recovery and jump back into action in IPL 2024.
