On the second day of Australia against Pakistan’s second test, Mitchell Marsh entertained the fans with football player Cristiano Ronaldo’s “siu” celebration. Mitchell Marsh, the all-rounder for Australia, had a good time playing on Day 2 in the second Test in Melbourne against Pakistan.

Marsh kept the crowd entertained while fielding at the boundary line. Earlier today he scored a crucial 41 in the opening inning. At Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), Mitchell Marsh entertained the audience by performing Cristiano Ronaldo’s “siu” celebration during the Pakistani innings.

Australia started the day having an early score of 187/3 after their overnight performance. In order to set the mood for Pakistan, Shaheen Afridi removed the lethal Travis Head early.

Together, Aamer Jamal, Mir Hamza, as well as Hasan Ali contributed to holding Australia to 318 in the opening innings. Despite playing a useful knock for the hosts, Mitchell Marsh (41) was unable to convert his start.

Then, in bowler-friendly conditions, Pakistan got off to a lackluster start. Both openers, Abdullah Shafique and Imam-ul-Haq, batted cautiously against a strong Australian assault. After a slow start, Imam was unable to get going, but Abdullah Shafique scored a smooth fifty-five and maintained a strong partnership alongside Shan Masood.

During the 35th over, Australian captain Pat Cummins ended their partnership by getting rid of Shafique, which let the team score runs at will. From then on, Pakistan’s middle order fell apart like a house of cards, and things got worse.

At 170/6, they faced the possibility of giving up a sizable advantage to the hosts. With a strong knock, Mohammad Rizwan (29*) preserved their chances and finished undefeated. In their opening innings at Stumps on the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Pakistan reached 194/6.

Pakistan would be hoping for Rizwan to score the bulk of runs tomorrow and can cut down the Australian lead. The visitors are still in the game but need a strong showing tomorrow otherwise the hosts will dominate the contest with ease.
