Watch: Indian Pacer Mohammed Siraj involves in verbal fight with Phil Salt during RCB vs DC match of IPL 2023

In the 50th match of the Indian Premier League 2023, Delhi Capitals hosted Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.  DC outplayed RCB with the bat as wicketkeeper-batter Phil Salt scored a magnificent half-century to lead his team to glory. However, during the match Salt got involved in a verbal banter with the RCB pacer Mohammed Siraj. 

In the fifth over of the second innings, Siraj came to bowl and was smacked by Phil Salt. Siraj was struck for two big sixes on the first two balls he bowled. Then, on the third ball, Salt danced out of his crease and smacked Siraj over mid-wicket for a sensational boundary. After giving up 16 runs in the first three balls, the Indian fast bowler delivered a sizzling bouncer that was ruled wide. In response to that, Siraj got into a heated argument with both hitters.

Notably, in their last game, RCB batter Virat Kohli got involved in a series of banter with players and mentor of Lucknow Super Giants. He sledged Naveen-ul-Haq, Kyle Mayers and others. He later got involved with Gautam Gambhir in a heated debate after the game. After the ugly fight, IPL fined Kohli, Gambhir and Naveen for breaching the code of conduct. 

Virat Kohli became the first player to score 7000 runs in IPL 

Virat Kohli, the former captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore, became the first batter to hit 7,000 runs in the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Saturday. Kohli has played 233 matches and scored over 7,000 runs in that time. Virat has six half-centuries in the first ten matches of the current season, bringing his overall number of IPL half-centuries to fifty.

Virat has scored 7,043 runs at an average of 36.87 in 233 matches and 225 innings. With a top score of 113, he has five centuries and 49 half-centuries to his name. He has the most runs scored in the league’s history. Virat Kohli was at his most brutal in the 2016 season. He scored 973 runs at an average of 81.08 in 16 matches that season. That season, he hit four hundreds and seven fifties at a strike rate of 152.03. His highest point total was 113.
