Former India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh turned back the clock in the ongoing Legends League Cricket 2023. In the second game of the tournament between India Maharajas and World Giants, he almost re-created Late Shane Warne’s ‘Delivery of the Century’. For the unversed, the former Australia leggie bowled England’s Mike Gatting around the legs in one of the Ashes series in the early 90s.

Meanwhile, almost 30 years later, the two-time World Cup winner for India, Singh bowled Chris Gayle pretty much the same way. In the third over of the Giants’ innings, the right-arm spinner came from over the wicket. The first ball he bowled outside the leg stump. Gayle, on the other hand, tried to slap the ball but the ball came back and hit the leg stump. Both bowlers and batters were in shock after the wicket.
