Test Cricket is the most challenging format of cricket which tests the mental toughness of a player. It requires them to be involved in the game at each and every second as a concentration lapse for even a single second could lead to their downfall. In these intense moments of cricket across five days, there are some light moments as well that tickle the ribs of players and freshens their mind. One such incident took place on the Day 2 of the second Test between Australia and the West Indies.

West Indies fast bowler, Devon Thomas, who was called in to bowl the 113th over of the first innings, lost his shoe while bowling. On the first ball of the 113th over, Thomas bowled a fullish delivery outside off to Travis Head who played it back to the bowler. In an attempt to stop the ball by diving, Thomas lost his shoe as he tumbled on the ground. The commentators thoroughly enjoyed the moment as they were heard laughing on air.
