The cast of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next movie is revealed! On Wednesday, Bhansali Productions revealed via social media that Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, and Ranbir Kapoor will be featured in their next movie. The project is named ‘Love and War.’ Following a great deal of conjecture from the public and media, the cast and title have been revealed.
Taking it to their official social media handle, the filmmaker dropped an official statement and made his special announcement. The statement read, “We bring you Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s epic saga ‘Love & War’. See you at the movies! Christmas 2025? The statement revealed the names of the three leading actors of the film. Sanjay Leela Bhansali has pulled off a casting coup as he bags a never-seen-before trio of Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal. The caption read, “Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next EPIC saga ‘LOVE & WAR’ starring #RanbirKapoor @aliaabhatt & @vickykaushal09. See you in Cinemas on CHRISTMAS 2025!”

This project is Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Alia Bhatt’s second joint venture, following “Gangubai Kathiawadi” in 2022. Alia was granted the National Award for Best Actress in recognition of her performance in the film. This is the director and Ranbir Kapoor’s second collaboration in the interim. Ranbir Kapoor debuted as an actor in “Saawariya” in 2007.
The musical saga “Baiju Bawra” was announced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali as his upcoming film to direct in 2019. After “Gangubai Kathiawadi” was released in 2020, he intended to begin work on “Baiju Bawra.” Ranveer Singh was also planning to star in the film. However, it looks like the film has been put on hold.
