‘Virat Kohli sir you will come back’: Young athlete Pooja Bishnoi pens down an emotional note for Virat Kohli
Virat Kohli is going through his second-worst season with the bat in his Indian T20 League career
Virat Kohli has been going through a time that no one could think of, let alone himself. In the ongoing Indian T20 League 2022, Kohli has only one half-century, two 40s, and three golden ducks to his name so far. This has been his second-worst season with the bat in his 14-year-old Indian T20 League career with 216 runs in 12 games averaging 19.64.
The right-hander’s worst season was the inaugural season of the cash-rich in 2008. In that tournament, the 33-year-old could only muster 165 runs at an average of 15. Recently, in a game against Hyderabad, he scored a golden duck. With the kind of poor form he is having, a lot of former cricketers have suggested he goes on a break after the season.
On the other hand, some other players have put faith in him and said that he will bounce back sooner rather than later. Meanwhile, Pooja Bishnoi has penned down an emotional note for the Bangalore and India skipper. In that note, Bishnoi says that she prays to God for the Delhi-born player’s comeback.
“Virat Kohli, sir, you will come back. I pray to God that Virat, sir, will come back in a form very soon. The whole world wants to see the super innings,†the 11-year-old wrote on Twitter.
Further in the Tweet, the athlete said that the entire population of India is waiting for the 101-Test veteran’s return to form and showed some love for his wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma and their daughter Vamika.
