3) 106 – India (won)  vs South Africa

In the third Twenty20 International at Johannesburg’s New Wanderers Stadium, India defeated South Africa by a margin of 106 runs. The Men in Blue won handily, tying the three-match series 1-1. The first game in Durban called off due to rain.

India were sent into bat and managed to score 201/7 during their 20 overs. Suryakumar Yadav, the skipper, set the bar high with an explosive century off 56 balls. The Proteas were then bowled out for 95 within 13.5 overs by birthday boy Kuldeep Yadav, who grabbed 5/17 in 2.5 overs.

2) 111 – Australia (Won) vs  South Africa

Mitch Marsh, Australia’s new captain, was in full flow from the start. With 22 balls, the right-handed batter smacked a half-century. Next, Tim David took off from the platform, propelling Australia reaching 226 for 6. At Kingsmead, this tally turned out to be the highest-ever T20I total. 

With a four-wicket haul, debutant Tanveer Sangha afterwards joined the Australian celebration. During their innings, SA looked lost and never got underway in their pursuit. They were ultimately folded for 115, having 27 balls to spare in their innings.

1) 168 – India (Won) vs  New Zealand

Shubman Gill stole the spotlight with an undefeated 126 from 63 balls after they decided to bat. The young player’s effort ended up becoming India’s best individual score in T20Is. India thus scored a startling 234 for 4 with handy contributions from the other batters.

Subsequently, Hardik Pandya attacked using the new ball and concluded his four overs with stats of 4 for 16. Shivam Mavi, Umran Malik, and Arshdeep Singh also each took home two. This 168-run victory for Team India turned out to be the largest between two countries that are full members.
