Tamil Nadu Premier League 2022 has reached the half-way stage with 16 games completed out of 32. In the 17th match of the league, Chepauk Super Gillies and Lyca Kovai Kings go against each other. There are only two points separating these teams with LKK sitting at third with four points and CSG sitting at fifth with two points. A win for CSG could allow them to swap places with the LKK.

TNPL Match 17: Chepauk Super Gillies vs Lyca Kovai Kings
In the 17th match of the TNPL 2022, CSG and LKK would be going for a win in order to move towards the top of the league. Both these teams defeated the same team, RTW, in their last match. LKK beat the RTW by five wickets, whereas the CSG beat them by 44 runs.
Coming on to bat first, the CSG team made 203/8 in 20 overs, with Uthirasamy Sasidev coming up with a sensational 81 off of 49. Uthirasamy Sasidev also came up with 65 off of 35 to help create a humongous total. The CSG bowlers were equally good to the task and restricted the RTW for just 159 runs. S Harish Kumar took three and Rajagopal Sathish took two to help the CSG win the match.
LKK also performed admirably in their last match and restricted the RTW team at just 135/10. Abhishek Tanwar’s 4-19-3 and Ramesh Divakar’s 2.3-20-2 were instrumental in LKK win. It was a team performance from the LKK side, who chased down the target with the highest score being 27 by two batters.
The next game between CSG and LKK is expected to be a close affair with both teams looking similarly strong.
