In the current Vizag Test involving India and England, Shreyas Iyer may not have performed well at the bat, but he proved to be a valuable fielder. Ben Stokes was forced to return after his magnificent throw on the fourth day caught him short of the crease.

Day four began with England at 67/1, but they immediately dismissed Rehan Ahmed off Akshar Patel after scoring 23 runs. After that, R Ashwin struck again and took Joe Root for 10 runs and Ollie Pope for 23 runs. Following a brief collaboration with Stokes, Bairstow returned to the pavilion after being leg before wicket off Bumrah for 26 runs.

Ben Stokes didn’t appear in his typical devastating mood and his big wicket remained elusive for India. As wickets fell all around him, he was just biding his time. But it wasn’t how he had hoped to be fired.

Ben Foakes’ inside edge caused the ball to go towards the leg side during the fourth ball during the 53rd over, and the batters raced off to score a single. Ben Stokes was jogging when he seen Shreyas Iyer pounce on the ball at short mid-wicket, as he was taking it too easy.

Iyer made a sudden move to pounce on the ball and struck the only stump he could see. Replays revealed that Stokes was extremely short from the crease. He got run out for eleven runs despite his last-ditch effort to hurry.

DRS confusion involving Ravichandran Ashwin!

Hartley attempted to reverse sweep a delivery sent by R Ashwin during the 61st over. The ball struck Hartley and bounced in the air, where Rohit was able to catch it at slip. Hartley reviewed the ruling after the umpire decided to award the India players’ appeal.

After it was evident to everybody that it had struck the forearm, the third umpire looked for LBW, but the on-field umpire ruled it not out. It displayed the umpire’s call for both impact and striking the stumps when ball-tracking was in progress. The proper choice had been chosen, notwithstanding some misunderstanding among the supporters.
