Brazil locked horns with South Korea in their Round of 16-clash in Stadium 974 on 6 December. It was the sixth clash of this knockout game in the ongoing FIFA World Cup. However, Brazil came to this clash after sealing the top spot in Group G. They managed two wins out of three games. In the last group-stage game, they suffered a shocking 1-0 loss at the hands of Cameroon.

On the other hand, South Korea sealed the second spot in Group H. They managed to get four points from three games in the group stage. However, Neymar made a comeback in the lineup after his injury, and Brazil fans were in a jubilant mood after that news. So, all eyes were on Neymar and his men before this clash.

Brazil began the game as a more clinical team than South Korea. In the seventh minute, Vinicius Jr. gave the much-needed lead to Brazil with his cool and composed finish. Then, in the 11th minute, Brazil got a penalty, courtesy of a foul draw against Richarlison. Meanwhile, Neymar scored from the spot and made it 2-0 for the Selecao.

In the 16th minute, Hwang Hee-chan managed a shot from out of the box. But, Alisson saved it with a strong fist pump. Then, Brazil came up with a fantastic team goal as Richarlison scored the third goal in the 29th minute. Thiago Silva assisted him in that build-up. After that, Brazil continued their dominance as they scored the fourth goal of the match. In the 36th minute, Lucas Paqueta scored the goal while Vinicius Jr. came up with the assist. Thus, the first half ended 4-0.

In the second half, Vinicius Jr. had a chance for another goal in the match in the 54th minute. But, his effort flew wide of the right post. Then, in the 62nd minute, Raphinha had a shot at the goal. But, South Korea’s goalkeeper, Kim Seunggyu made a save to deny him. South Korea pulled back one goal back in the 76th minute. Paik Seung-ho was the scorer. Finally, the game ended 4-1 in favor of Brazil. Fans went crazy after watching such a dominating performance from Brazil in this clash.
