Sri Lanka had recently defeated India, and there is a good chance that they will do so again. The Sri Lankan captain Dasun Shanaka has been in tremendous form in the last year or so. However, he has not been able to get his team across the line on many occasions. The all-rounder has the ability to take on any bowling attack.
On his day, he can single-handedly take the game away from any opponent. He’d like to do well in the remaining matches against India and lead his team to victory. The Men in Blue will have to keep an eye out for him in the upcoming match in Pune.

Dhananjaya de Silva is one of the most experienced players in the current Sri Lankan side. The all-rounder has played as many as 34 T20Is for the island nation and has guided the team over the line on many occasions.
Even though he did not have the best outing in the first game, he could wreak havoc in the next match on the 5th of January. The all-rounder can be equally useful for the visitors with the ball and the bat. He would be crucial to Sri Lanka’s success.

Chamika Karunaratne can be a dark horse for the Sri Lankan team in the upcoming match. While he is best known for his bowling abilities, he can also contribute with the bat. The 26-year-old displayed exactly that in the first match.
Chasing the target, Karunaratne almost took his team over the line in the match. He played a small cameo of 23 runs in 16 balls. In addition, he also took a wicket with the ball.
