‘Thala ko bhul gaye’ – Fans react as University in Chennai includes question on Virat Kohli in 2nd year Computer Engineering paper
Virat Kohli is currently in action for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL 2023
Cricket is a well-liked sport in India, and Virat Kohli has a huge fan base. The public appreciates and respects him because of his exceptional batting abilities. Some fans will go above and above to show their passion for their favourite cricket player, and their zeal is remarkable.
In a similar vein, a Virat Kohli-related question was included in the 2nd-year Computer Engineering exam at Shiv Nadar University Chennai. Virat Kohli has, however, previously been mentioned on test questions. A picture of the class 9 English exam went viral on social media. Students were asked to answer a question regarding former India captain Virat Kohli in 100–120 words. Others claimed they could have easily gotten an A, while some fans claimed they could have easily written a “chapter” on King Kohli. Some people even expressed concern for the students who aren’t cricket fans.
‘I thought he (Kohli) would (lead the side). Once Rohit was injured’ – Ravi Shastri
Virat Kohli’s decision to resign as India’s captain for all three game types left him feeling unfulfilled. As the cricketing world tries to understand what transpired between India’s best Test skipper to date and the Indian Cricket Board, many still question whether Kohli can return as India’s captain for one final game. Ravi Shastri, a former head coach of India, has admitted that he had expected Kohli to take over after Rohit Sharma was sidelined for the Birmingham Test against England that was rescheduled. However, his return as the captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore gave supporters something to cheer about.
“I thought he (Virat Kohli) would (lead the side). Once Rohit was injured (positive Covid-19 report), I thought he would be asked. If I was still there, I would’ve. I’m sure Rahul might have done the same thing; I don’t know, I haven’t spoken to him, but I would’ve recommended the board that it’s only fair he leads because he was part of the team that was leading 2-1 in the series. And he probably could’ve gotten the best out of players,” Shastri said in an interview on ESPNCricinfo.
