While the Pakistan Cricket Team is playing New Zealand in the first Test match at the National Stadium in Karachi, former cricketer Sohail Tanvir has given fans a moment to laugh at. With his latest tweet, Tanvir has taken the internet by storm.

Younis Khan, a former cricketer for Pakistan, gave birth to a boy in March 2018. Khan, who is still regarded as one of Pakistan cricket’s most prolific run scorers, posted a photo of his second son on social media. “Alhamdulillah – Allah swt has blessed me with a second son. Please remember me in your prayers,” Khan tweeted on March 14, 2018.

Unexpectedly, four years later, former Pakistani left-arm pacer Sohail Tanveer responded to the tweet. “MashaAllah, bohat Mubarak ho ap logon ko,” Tanveer tweeted on December 25.

As soon as he posted the tweet, Twitter started brutally trolling the former left-arm bowler. “Kuch aur time baad tweet karta toh Younus ka beta jo born hua tha wohi reply bhi kar deta ‘thank you uncle’..” wrote a user. “Relax he just paid his Internet bill,” another one said.

One of the best cricketers to ever play the game is Younis Khan. He is the only Pakistani batsman with at least 10,000 runs in tests and has the most centuries (34) overall. Together with former Pakistani captain Javed Miandad, he holds the record for the most double tonnes scored for Pakistan in Test matches.

In April 2017, Khan declared his retirement from international cricket. Wasim Akram, a legendary cricketer from Pakistan, praised Khan as one of the greatest batsmen in history. “Younis Khan is one of the best batsmen we have had. And he has always given his best for Pakistan,” Akram said.

“Younis was always a very hard-working player. He was proactive in all fields of the game, whether it was batting, fielding, helping others out during practice. He was a proper team-man. The way he has handled his image, he will always be respected for it,” he added.
