Ravichandran Ashwin tweets after Shardul Thakur’s epic knock

Ashwin sent an amazing tweet regarding his India teammate as Shardul Thakur achieved his  first FC hundred. Ashwin did this by channeling his inner Ravi Shastri. In a lighthearted homage to the legendary Ian Botham of England, former India coach Shastri gave Shardul the term “Beefy.”

After Shardul’s counter attacking cameo helped India rally from 127 for seven during the fourth Test of the series versus England in 2021 at The Oval, the seasoned player from India made the revelation. The all-rounder top-scored for India as they got bundled out for 191. He was also able to set a record for the fastest-ever Test fifty on his way to his 36-ball 57.

Ravichandran Ashwin’s tweet read, “Dey lord beefy! Enough da #MumbaivsTN #RanjiTrophy”
