The excitement for the 20-20 World Cup is at its peak as the fans are eagerly waiting for the mega tournament to get underway. The teams are unveiling their jersey one by one for the T20 extravaganza. Yesterday, team India revealed their jersey for the World Cup to be held in Australia next month. However, it’s the Pakistan jersey that has been making headlines everywhere as it got leaked yesterday.

The Pakistan jersey has attracted a lot of trolls ever since its images surfaced online. The jersey was officially unveiled by the Pakistan Cricket Board today and the fans have been pointing out its striking resemblance to a watermelon.

The ‘Men in Green’ recently faced a disappointing loss against Sri Lanka in the final of the Asia Cup. Sri Lanka came from behind and scripted a comeback for the ages as they stunned the cricket world with their emphatic win. Sri Lanka remained undefeated after their humiliating loss against Afghanistan in the opening match of the tournament. They beat Pakistan back-to-back in consecutive matches and stamped their authority on the Babar-Azam-led side.

Pakistan will play two more T20I series before the World Cup begins. First, they will play a seven-match T20I series against England at home. They will further be involved in a triangular series along with New Zealand and Bangladesh.

Pakistan will look to go one step ahead of their last year’s performance in the 20-20 World Cup. They were knocked out by Australia in the semi-final of the tournament. Pakistan recently named their 20-20 World Cup squad and it did include a few surprises. The former cricketers and experts weren’t quite impressed with the squad selection and expressed their concern over the lack of experience in the middle order.
