TNPL 2022: Match 20 Lyca Kovai Kings vs Tiruppur Tamizhans
In the 20th match of the TNPL 2022, fourth-placed team Lyca Kovai Kings and fifth-placed team Tiruppur Tamizhans clash for an opportunity to move to third in the league table.
Lyca Kovai Kings: LKK lost their last match against CSG due to a poor bowling performance. LKK made 170/7 on the back of Shahrukh Khan’s half-century. Their bowlers however gave away the match with one over remaining. The LKK team would need to improve their bowling in the next match if they are to win the game.
Tiruppur Tamizhans: ITT have the same number of points (4) as their next opponents. They are however coming off a win in their last match and look motivated for their upcoming challenge. They defeated SS in their last match on the back of a great bowling display. Having made just 135/5 in 20 overs, the ITT team got the whole SS team out on just 103.

The 21st match of the TNPL would see the third-placed CSG go against the sixth-placed DD. Despite a gap in ranking, they both have four points each.
Chepauk Super Gillies: In their last match, CSG beat LKK and would be looking confident for the upcoming match. Their batting in particular has looked very impressive. Chasing a target of 170/7, the CSG team were able to achieve it with one over to spare. Narayan Jagadeesan came up with a sensational 75 off of 51.
Dindigul Dragons: DD are also with four points but rank sixth due to a poor net run rate. In their last match, they were given a massive thumping of seven wickets by the SMP team. DD’s batting failed to put a decent total on the board (122/9) and lost the game in just 15.3 overs. They would need to bring a big improvement in their bowling if they’re to win their next match.
