The SLC Invitational T20 League 2022 got off to a flyer with two entertaining games on the first day. The third & fourth match of the league is looking to showcase similar quality and entertainment factor as the first two.
Let’s look at the preview of the third and fourth match of SLC Invitational League 2022 between SLC Greens and SLC Reds.
Match 3- SLC Greys vs SLC Blues Team News:
SLC Greys: The SLC Greys lost their first match on the back of poor batting. They could only muster 120 runs batting first against SLC Reds. Muditha Lakshan came up with 32 runs and Akila Dananjaya took two wickets but none could produce a match-winning performance.
SLC Blues: SLC Blues despite not doing remarkably well in batting produced a bowling masterclass to win their first match. Having made 122/9 in the first innings, SLC Blues bowled out the whole SLC Greens team at just 90.
The bowling team led by Dishan Madushanka, Praveen Jayawickrama and Sumida Lakshan who took two wickets each would be looking to continue their performance. The batting needs to be a little better.

Match 4- SLC Greens vs SLC Reds Team News:
SLC Greens: SLC Greens lost their first match by a good 30 runs in what was a poor start to their campaign. Although the SLC Green bowlers were able to stop the opponents at just 122/9. Batters however could not chase down the target and falter at just 90.
Apart from Dasun Shanaka who made 37 off of 3, none of the SLC Green batters had a good day, something that they would be looking to change in their next match.
SLC Reds: SLC Reds had an opposite start to that of SLC Green. They won their inaugural match by 6 wickets against SLC Greys. Bowling first, the SLC Reds team restricted the opponent at 120/9 and chased down the target in just 16.5 overs.
Asitha Fernando with the ball and Lasith Croospulle & Kusal Mendis with the bat were the stars for Reds in the SLC Invitational T20 League.
