Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal offers 300 million Euros to Kylian Mbappe
Kylian Mbappe has been part of the Paris-Saint Germain since 2018 from Monaco.
French footballer Kylian Mbappe has been offered 300 Million Euros (27,19,15,66,059 INR) by the Saudi Arabian club, Al Hilal. The 2018 FIFA World Cup winner has been part of Paris Saint-Germain since 2018. Mbappe joined the team after leaving Monaco. Last year, his contract with the team was renewed with the French club. The France skipper came close to joining Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo’s former team last year.
Talking about the world record fee for a football player, Barcelona received €222m from PSG for Neymar in 2017. The Brazil forward’s contract is due to expire in June 2025. Meanwhile, talking about Mbappe, the Saudi club is willing to have him for one season. However, there have been no talks between the striker and the club. All of this is happening after PSG left out Mbappe for a pre-season game against Japan.
Before Mbappe, the club also offered former PSG player and FIFA World Cup 2022 winner, Lionel Messi around 350 million Euros. However, the Argentina skipper decided to move to Inter Milan. Meanwhile, last month, reports emerged that Mbappé had presented a formal letter to PSG, informing them he would not to take up the option of a one-year contract extension next summer.
The club’s president, Nasser al-Khelaifi, said this month: “If Kylian wants to stay, we want him to stay. But he needs to sign a new contract. We don’t want to lose the best player in the world for free; we can’t do that.” Mbappé joined PSG from Monaco in 2018 for £166m.
