‘Sara zamana King Kohli ka deewana’ – Fans abuzz as YouTube sensation ‘Speed’ spotted with number 18 India jersey at WTC Final
The WTC Final between Australia and India has been underway since June 7 at the Oval, London
The World Test Championship has been underway since June 7, Wednesday, at the Oval, London. As such, YouTube sensation ‘Speed’ was spotted in the stands sporting a number 18 India jersey to support the Indian team in general and Virat Kohli in particular. Speed is a big Virat Kohli fans and the duo also share an interest in Manchester United and Cristiano Ronaldo making them pretty much alike in terms of sporting interests.
Talking of the game, Australia look in the driver’s seat after scoring 469 runs in the first innings before the Indian Bowling contingent could bowl them out. Mohammed Siraj remained the pick of the bowlers for India with figures of 4/108. At the same time, Mohammed Shami and Shardul Thakur returned with two wickets each and while Ravindra Jadeja picked up the remaining one. For the Aussies, Travis Head remained the show-stopper with 163 off 174 while Steve Smith followed close with 121 off 268.
Both Virat Kohli and Speed attended FA Cup final
Since their journey to the UK, Virat Kohli and other members of the Indian Team have made it quite the vacation with a lot of off-the-pitch action. The first and most pompous of them was the visit to the FA Cup final between Manchester City and Manchester United at the Wembley Stadium in London. Virat Kohli attended it with his wife Anushka Sharma and teammate Shubman Gill. Apparently, Kohli received invitations from PUMA and Manchester City for the marquee final.
Speed, on the other hand, didn’t have a great experience as a Manchester United fan. Not only did his team lose the FA Cup final 2-1 to their noisy neighbours, a Manchester City fan in the stands next to him tried to attack him during the game. His bodyguard intervened to stabilize the situation quickly. The videos of the incident have gone viral on social media. City skipper Ilkay Gundogan scored a brace that was enough to get better of United’s captain Bruno Fernandes’s penalty conversion.
