Sanju Samson comes up with cheeky reply for Shimron Hetmyer's comment on Instagram post

Sanju Samson, the Indian batter, is recovering at present post suffering an injury and is away from competitive cricket. On January 31, Tuesday, the right-handed batter uploaded an image on his Instagram account with his bike, only to be taken a dig by his Rajasthan franchise teammate Shimron Hetmyer.

To add more, commenting on Samson’s post where the star batter was seen with his bike, Hetmyer commented that it was not a bad post and questioned if Samson knew what to do with a two-wheeler. Much to the surprise of the fans, the Indian batter replied saying that he rather knew how to deal with the West Indies batter when they meet next time.

Here is Sanju Samson’s post on Instagram and Shimron Hetmyer’s reply to the former:

Can Rajasthan take off from where they left in 2022?

Samson will be leading the Rajasthan franchise once again in the approaching season of the Indian T20 League and it remains to be seen if the batter would lead his side into the summit clash yet again. For the unversed, Samson led the side to the finals of the 2022 edition where they lost to the Gujarat team, with the latter clinching the trophy in their first-ever appearance in the T20 extravaganza.

During the T20I series against Sri Lanka, Samson faced an injury scare and was eventually ruled out of the ODI and T20I series against New Zealand which saw him staying away from cricket. While the batter would hope to make a comeback to the national side on time ahead of the 50-over World Cup set to take place later this year, his form in the upcoming season of the Indian T20 League would be crucial.

“Samson hurt his left knee while attempting to field a ball near the boundary ropes during the first T20I and has been advised rest and rehabilitation,” said the Indian Cricket Board in a statement after the right-handed batter sustained an injury ahead of the ODIs vs Tom Latham and his men.
