‘Sach saamne aa hi gaya’ – Fans react as Chetan Sharma makes big revelations about Sourav Ganguly’s dislike for Virat Kohli leading to captaincy row

Former India speedster, Chetan Sharma was elected as the Chairman of the Indian Selection Committee back in 2020.

Chetan Sharma made big revelations in sting operation

A sting operation was conducted on the Chairman of the Selection Committee of the Indian Cricket Board, Chetan Sharma, on Tuesday. Sharma disclosed previously hidden secrets, including the use of ‘fake fitness’ injections by the players of the Indian Cricket team, the reasons behind the disagreements between former Cricket Board President Sourav Ganguly and former skipper Virat Kohli, and who is responsible for dropping players from the squad. These revelations, captured on a sting camera, have had a profound impact on the Indian Cricket Board and the Apex governing body of Cricket, alongside leaving fans feeling misled.

Chetan Sharma revealed a big ego clash between ex-Cricket Board President Sourav Ganguly and former India skipper Virat Kohli. Sharma said that Kohli thought he was above the board and that Ganguly was entitled to his own stance.

He said Kohli believed that his captaincy was taken away just because of Ganguly’s opinion, which is why at a press conference in South Africa, he hit back at the 50-year-old. Sharma accused Kohli of being a liar saying it was communicated beforehand to the batter not to give up his captaincy. ‘Ganguly told Virat not to give up the role’, Sharma added. It hurt his ego, so Virat blamed Ganguly at the press conference in South Africa.

Chetan Sharma spoke extensively on the use of ‘fake fitness’ injections

Sharma also disclosed that players are using ‘fake fitness’ injections and that the Cricket Board deliberately overlooks some prominent players’ injected fitness. The videos also reveal how influential players like Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya convince the Chief Selector and how these players use breaks to have a say in removing and adding players from the squad and the Playing XI.

“Jaspirt Bumrah was unable to bend as he had a major injury; other than that, there are one or two players who take injections in private and say that they are fit to play.

“These are not painkillers. These injections contain a drug which isn’t caught in a dope Test.

“Bumrah’s injury was such critical that if he had played even one match of the 20-20 World Cup in Australia, he would’ve got ruled out for at least one year.

“The players are not fit, but they take injections to play. They are ready to play even at 80% fitness. They take injections and start playing,” Sharma said in the leaked video clips from the sting operation.

Here’s how fan’s reacted to Sharma’s revelations regarding the Ganguly-Kohli power struggle:
