December 6th marks the birthday of many international cricketers, including Indian stars Jasprit Bumrah, Ravindra Jadeja, Shreyas Iyer, and Karun Nair. Wishes from all across the world have poured in for these cricketers, but it also has given users the opportunity to put their creative hats on.
Memes from all have taken Twitter by storm, knowing the coincidence of all these star players celebrating their birthdays together. The star Indian batter Shreyas Iyer also showed his humourous side as he wished the other three a happy birthday in a tweet. Iyer posted a picture of the famous meme where spiderman’s doppelgangers are pointing at each other.
Interestingly, not just these four but other players also are celebrating their birthdays. Andrew Flintoff, RP Singh, Suyash Prabudesai, Glenn Phillips, Harry Tector, and Sean Ervine all celebrate their birthday’s on the 6th of December. Many users hilariously pointed out that this list is one short of completing a Playing XI.
In the meantime, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who turned 34, and fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, who turned 29, have been dealing with injuries. Both these star players were supposed to be a part of the Indian team for the recently concluded 20-20 World Cup 2022. However, injuries kept them on the sidelines and the Men in Blue suffered a semi-final exit after losing to England by 10 wickets.
Jadeja was later named to the team for the ongoing ODI series against Bangladesh, but he was dropped before the series began. The two will be hoping to make a quick return and fill major voids in the Indian team.
On the other hand, Shreyas Iyer has been in and out of the Indian team for some time now. He is a part of the ongoing series in Bangladesh and will hope to cement his place in the Indian team setup. He will, however, need to address some of his batting’s major issues, such as his approach to the short ball.
