Rumours are rife that Vedang Raina, who portrayed the character of Reggie in Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies, has been approached to play the role of Alia Bhatt‘s brother in Jigra. When asked about the current rumours in a recent interview, Vedang said that while he was aware of these intriguing conjectures, he was unable to comment on them.

Jigra gets its second lead?

He said it sounded exciting when asked how it would be to play Alia Bhatt’s sibling. In response to the question of what kind of brother he would like to play for Alia Bhatt, Vedang said that it would depend on the characters and the script.

The aforementioned rumours about Vedang are neither confirmed nor refuted, which gives rise to the possibility that he is involved in Alia Bhatt’s Jigra. Speaking of Vedang, he made headlines lately for his purported liaison with Khushi Kapoor, the younger sister of Janhvi Kapoor. But Vedang refuted the reports, saying that although he and Khushi are great friends, their relationship is over.

He added that he is happy and single at the moment. But he won’t turn away if love knocks on his door. He stated that he is looking for a future partner who is intelligent, devoted, and diligent.

The film debuts Khushi Kapoor, the daughter of Boney Kapoor and Sridevi, Agastya Nanda, the grandson of Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, and Suhana Khan, the daughter of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan.
