With the first semi-final having been postponed midway through the game, the same cloud of uncertainty looms large on the second one. Sri Lanka having qualified from the group stage without losing any match would be looking to go all the way this season and get over the heartbreak of the last season. West Indies meanwhile offer a mighty threat in any game.

Let’s look at all the details for the upcoming second semi-final match of the Road Safety World Series 2022.

2nd Semi-final: Sri Lanka Legends vs West Indies Legends

Sri Lanka topped the RSWS league table with four wins in their five matches while one was abandoned due to poor weather. The Tillakaratne Dilshan-led side has defeated four teams in India, Bangladesh, England and South Africa. They have however not played against the top teams such as Australia, West Indies and New Zealand.

West Indies on the other hand came fourth on the league table with two wins in their five matches. They lost one match whereas two of them were abandoned due to poor weather. The Brian Lara and Kirk Edwards-led teams are a highly inconsistent side which could easily lose against Sri Lanka but they also have the talents and firepower to blow the Asian country away.
