Road Safety World Series is back in its second season. The much-awaited tournament is scheduled to kick off on September 10th with India Legends vs South Africa legends being the curtain raiser for the event.

There are some very big names associated with the tournament. Players like Sachin Tendulkar, Brian Lara, Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Shane Watson, and others would ply their trade in the upcoming event. The quality of players suggests that there would be plenty of runs in the tournament.

Let’s see three players who can score the most number of runs in the Road Safety World Series 2022.

1. Suresh Raina

Once the top scorer in the Indian T20 League, Raina had a disappointing fallout with the Chennai board and had to withdraw from playing with the team. A couple of days ago, the left-handed batter took retirement from all forms of cricket and announced that he will play in the Road Safety World Series 2022.

The Uttar Pradesh born has made 5528 runs in the Indian T20 League and is just freshly retired which suggests that he would come good with the bat in the RSWS 2022.

2. Ross Taylor

The New Zealand batter Ross Taylor has been one of the unsung heroes in International cricket. Although he burst onto the scene as a destructive batter, he found his place as a consistent performer with the bat. Taylor has more than 6000 runs in both Test and ODIs at an average of 48 and 45 respectively.

The Kiwi has recently retired and still is in great shape which all suggests him being one of the top scorers of the tournament.

3. Tillakaratne Dilshan

The Sri Lanka batting all-rounder, Dilshan ruled T20 format some years ago. His trademark shit ‘Dilscoop’ is still considered as one of the greatest innovations of 20-20 cricket. The right-hand batter was the top scorer in the first edition of the Road Safety World Series (271) and could do the same this year too.

Dilshan has 1153 runs to his name in 52 matches in Indian T20 League. He has also made 1889 runs for the country in T20Is.
