Shreyas Iyer and Shikhar Dhawan have been trending online as a video of the duo dancing has gone viral on the internet. The two Indian cricketers were seen dancing to a trending Instagram song “Calm Down”. In the video, Iyer grabs Dhawan’s phone and the two start dancing.

While Iyer is known for his dancing skills, Dhawan also showcased his hidden talent. Both Indian stars are very active on social media and keep participating in online trends as they post regular Instagram reels.

In the meantime, these players are out of the Indian team for various reasons. While Iyer is out with a stiff back, Dhawan appears to be out of the Indian Cricket team’s plans. They are both currently at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore.

Shreyas Iyer has been a regular in India’s playing XI in ODIs and Tests. He was even named to the Apex Cricket Council’s ODI XI for 2022. Iyer had a fantastic year last year, consistently performing in the longer white-ball format.

On the other hand, Dhawan has not played a single game for India in 2023. He was not included in India’s ODI side for the series against Sri Lanka and New Zealand that concluded in January. Fans expected he would be included in the side and were very upset when he was overlooked.

India is currently preparing for the four-match Test series against the mighty Australian side. The Border Gavaskar trophy always brings out the best of both sides. The first match of the series will be played in Nagpur from the 9th of February. Iyer also is a part of the team but has been ruled out of the first match due to his back issues. It is highly likely that Suryakumar Yadav will get a game in his absence.
