Weather may or may not play a role in the first semi-final of the ODI World Cup 2023.

The first Semi-Final in the ODI World Cup 2023 between New Zealand and India is scheduled to take place on November 15, at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The match’s live action will start primarily over the Star Sports Network at 2:00 PM IST.

India remains the only side in the competition to have won every game and gone undefeated, but New Zealand’s victory over Sri Lanka in the most recent match advanced them to the semifinals.

Mumbai is expected to have a bright day with no rain, with temperatures hovering around 35°C. In the evening, the temperature will sharply drop to 25°C with winds of 10 km/h. This information is based on data from Google Weather and the Indian Meteorological Department. There is no risk of precipitation in Mumbai during the day, so spectators can expect rain-free and uninterrupted activity.

Both teams will play upon the reserve day if the game has to be postponed due to excessive weather. The 2019 ODI World Cup semifinal match between India and New Zealand was put on hold owing to bad weather. In order to go to the competition’s finals, New Zealand defeated India in their match.

The previous league stage match between India and New Zealand took place at Dharamsala on October 22. This time hosts India emerged victorious as they won the game by four wickets. The game was the Indians’ first victory versus New Zealand in an international Cricket League competition in 20 years.

Match Preview : India vs New Zealand – Semi Final 1

With two hundreds in their last league match versus the Netherlands on Sunday, Shreyas Iyer as well as KL Rahul will be confident heading into the semi-final match for Team India. When the batting is performing at peak efficiency, the bowling attack against the Kiwis will also need to be just as potent.

Meanwhile, Williamson’s performance will provide the Black Caps with a much-needed lift. They needed this before the match at Wankhede Stadium. Even if players like Virat Kohli may be hogging the spotlight, Rachin Ravindra is a name that people are talking about. Their preparations could be affected by Matt Henry’s absence. But Tim Southee, a seasoned player, might be useful in Mumbai’s seaming conditions.
