Having won the ODI and T20I series in England, Indian fans hoped that their team could do the same against the West Indies. Given India’s insane momentum, it came in as a shock when India were defeated massively in the second T20I.

Coming on to bat first the West Indies team got off to a good start with both their openers solidifying themselves. He was also helped by Rovman Powell (23), Nicholas Pooran (22) and Shimron Hetmyer (20) who came up with short stays at the crease.

Indian bowling had an off day with Avesh Khan going for 15.7 runs an over in his three-over spell. Bhuvneshwar Kumar came up with two wickets.
