Recently, MS Dhoni announced his collaboration with the re-launching of a biscuit brand. Notably, around 24 hours before the announcement, he posted a photo and wrote about a big announcement. The fans were waiting curiously only to know his association with the brand. During the announcement, he said that the brand was launched in 2011 and the Men In Blue won the ODI World Cup the same year.

Talking about India, they will play their last T20I against South Africa on October 4. After this, they will be heading to Australia for the 20-20 World Cup 2022. In the World Cup, they have been grouped with Pakistan, Bangladesh, and South Africa in Group Two of the Super 12 round. Two more teams will join them after the first round. Ahead of the tournament, the team lost the services of Jasprit Bumrah due to a back injury.

In the last few days, there were several reports which were suggesting that Bumrah might play the showpiece event. However, the Indian Cricket Board president Sourav Ganguly said that there was hope for Bumrah. However, on October 3, the board announced that the right-arm pacer was officially ruled out of the tournament. Jay Shah, honorary secretary of the board, said that the replacement will be announced soon. It will be interesting to see who will be announced as his replacement.

The team has faced issues in recent times in the absence of Jasprit. During the Super Four round of the Asia Cup 2022, the team struggled to defend totals due to poor death bowling in the games against Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
