Rishabh Pant might be seen in professional cricket during IPL 2024 with the Delhi Capitals.
One positive development for the Delhi Capitals prior to the forthcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season is that Rishabh Pant might be scheduled to play as an Impact Player.
After a serious accident that occurred last year while going from Delhi to Roorkee, Pant’s injuries kept him out of action until 2023. However, he has since made progress in his recuperation and is getting closer to being fully healthy again.
According to the impact player law, any franchise may use any one of the five substitutes listed with the starting eleven in the toss to replace a player from the playing eleven during the game.
Eleven players, including Mustafizur Rahman, Sarfaraz Khan, and Rovman Powell, have been discharged by the team. Shaw’s retention by DC has been the subject of arguement, particularly in the wake of his lacklustre IPL 2023 performance. However, Manish Pandey, Sarfaraz Khan, Chetan Sakariya, Ripal Patel, Kamlesh Nagarkoti, and Aman Khan have all been let go, while he has been kept on.
Powell’s name sticks out among the well-known players that DC released, along with that of Rahman and Rilee Rossouw. The DC team now has a budget of INR 28.95 crore ahead of the IPL auction in Dubai next month. Five of the nine spots on the roster that are still available are abroad.

MS Dhoni and Rishabh Pant were recently spotted together at a Mumbai event. The southpaw frequently attends birthday festivities and parties with the skipper of the Chennai Super Kings.
For the IPL 2024, CSK recently decided to keep Dhoni. Since his knee surgery at the end of the previous league season, he has not resumed the practice. Despite suffering from a severe knee injury, Mahi was able to guide the Chennai-based team to their sixth tournament championship.
