The popularity of the Indian T20 League is a great indication of cricket’s rise in the world of sports. With the hopes of emulating this popularity in International T20 Cricket, many cricket clubs are coming on to play more T20I games in the coming future. An approach in a similar direction sees Malaysia host a quadrangular series with Maldives, Thailand, and Bhutan.

Here’s a look at the preview for the second and third matches of the Malaysia Quadrangular Series:

Match 2: Maldives vs Thailand

The second match of the Quadrangular Series sees 65th ranked Thailand and 67th placed Maldives go head to head against each other. The Thailand team last played a game on 4th March 2020 against Nepal that they lost by nine wickets.

The Maldives, on the other hand, had played their last game against Oman on 25th February 2020 where they also lost by a huge margin of 10 wickets. Both teams would be looking to give better performances in the upcoming match. As the ranking suggests, they are quite well stacked against each other.

Match 3: Malaysia vs Bhutan

Malaysia and Bhutan played the first game of the Malaysia Quadrangular T20I series and will take on each other again in the third game. In the first game, Bhutan was totally outclassed by the host team and were defeated by 155 runs.

Zubaidi Zulkifle came up with a sensational 96 off of 43 balls, including six fours and eight sixes. Captain Virandeep Singh also played a handy knock of 54 off of 44 balls.

The Bhutan team playing their very first game after a long long time collapsed at just 58/8 in 20 overs. They would need to improve their performance massively if they’re to challenge the host team
