The Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 2022 is on its way to fuel the desire of domestic 20-20 watchers in India. With six games already done, the tournament has set a good start for the league. 

10th August will come up with two more games in the league which are expected to be equally entertaining if not more than the previous ones. Let’s look at all the details for the upcoming Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 matches. 

Match 7: Mysore Warriors vs Hubli Tigers

7th match of the tournament pits third-placed Mysore against fourth-placed Hubli. Both have won one game out of their two, earning them two points in total. 

Mysore Warriors defeated Shivamogga Strikers in their first match by 69 runs. In the second match, however, they lost to a strong Mangalore side by eight runs. 

Nihal Ullal came up with a knock of 44 in the last match and would be looking to continue his form. Shreyas Gopal has also hit a half-century in his first match along with Pavan Deshpande (43) and both would need to play important innings in the next match. Shubhang Hegde with his four wickets is doing well on the bowling front. 

After getting a thumping defeat in the very first match. Hubli Tigers beat Bengaluru Blasters in the second match to earn their first win of the league. Captain Abhimanyu Mithun led the team from the front with his unbeaten 51 to register their first win and expectations would be high for him. Hubli bowlers have done well in both matches.

Match 8: Mangalore United vs Shivamogga Strikers 

Mangalore United have come out as the best team in the starting days of the league. They have won both of their matches and sit at the top with four points. They have defeated Hubli Tigers and Mysuru Warriors so far and would be looking to achieve their third win in the league. 

Captain Ravikumar Samarth with knocks of 57 and 31 has been leading his team from the front. The bowling unit has been impressive altogether with every bowler getting some wickets. 

Shivamogga Strikers with two defeats in both matches sit at the very bottom of the table. They have so far lost to Mysuru Warriors and Gulbarga Mystics. They performed poorly in the first match but improved massively in the second, making an impressive score of 175/8. 

Rohan Kadam and Krishnamurthy Siddharth made impressive half-centuries in the second match and were eventually let down by their bowlers who were unable to restrict the opponents.

Both the matches will be held at the Srikantadatta Narasimha Raja Wadeyar Stadium in Mysore. The pitch here has proven to be batting friendly but has also given some edge to spinners. The weather report suggests broken clouds with a temperature of 23 degrees Celcius. The Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 however has been affected by rain and this could turn out to be the same for the two upcoming matches.
