Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 2022: Squad, Schedule, Venue, All You need to know
Hubli Tigers and Mangalore United are set to clash in the first match of the Maharaja Trophy.
The highly anticipated Maharaj Trophy KSCA T20 League is all set to kick off on August 7th. The T20 competition organised by Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) will take the place of the Karnataka Premier League. KPL was defunct due to a fixing scandal that rocked the league. It forced down the closure of KPL.
The first leg of the Maharaja Trophy T20 will be played in the Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar Ground in Mysore. The second leg which will consist of 16 matches will take place at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The final match of the tournament will be held on August 26th.
The player draft for the upcoming season was held on July 30th at the M Chinnaswamy in Bengaluru. There are six teams taking part in the Maharaja Trophy namely Shivmogga Strikers, Mysore Warriors, Hubli Tigers, Mangalore United, Gulbarga Mystics and Bangalore Blasters.
