The FIFA football game developed by EA Sports is probably one of the most played video games in the world. It has become so big that FIFA 22 has its very own tournaments with millions in prize money.

Not just kids and football fans, but the FIFA game is played by even celebrities and actual footballers themselves. Many modern-day footballers themselves play and live stream FIFA when on a break.

One of the most popular features of this game is ‘FIFA Packs’ or ‘FUT (FIFA Ultimate Team) Packs’. Through these packs, one can build their ultimate team in the game and then play with that team against other players.

EA Sports defines these packs as, “FUT Packs are virtual in-game packs that contain randomised content like players and club Items. Because the specific contents in FUT Packs are randomised and not visible to you before they are opened, this mechanic is sometimes referred to as a loot box.”

Given the ambiguity behind these cards, FIFA players are often very excited to open good footballers in these FUT packs. Something like this happened with Mateo Messi, Lionel Messi’s son as well.

Messi’s wife Antonela Roccuzzo recently uploaded an Instagram story where Mateo was seen holding Lionel Messi’s trump card after he had unpacked Messi in his FUT Pack. Messi’s son could be seen smiling from ear to ear after getting one of the best footballers on FIFA and his dad.

Currently, the seven times Ballon d’Or winner is gearing up to lead his Argentina side to the FIFA World Cup 2022. The 35-year-old currently plays for the French club PSG with the likes of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

The 2022 FIFA World Cup is being hosted by Qatar and will feature 32 teams from all over the world. The mega event is scheduled to start on 20th November 2022 with Qatar vs Ecuador being the curtain raiser match for the tournament.
