Legends League Cricket 2022: Three players who have not lived up to the expectations
We have handpicked three players who have failed in the Legends League Cricket 2022 so far
Legends League Cricket 2022 is turning out to be a great tournament and the new format is working out well so far. As far as players are concerned, they have been doing well and working hard. However, a few players have missed capitalizing on the opportunity.
One can understand that the players have retired and it might take some time for them to make a comeback. We have handpicked three such legends of the game who have failed to emulate their best so far:
1) Virender Sehwag
Virender Sehwag has not been at his best in the tournament so far. The Indian legend proved his worth for India and has failed in the Legends League Cricket until now. Out of the two matches played in the tournament so far, the great has managed to score only seven runs.
However, one can never write him off and he can make a strong comeback in any of the upcoming matches. As it stands, Virender Sehwag has failed to give his best in the Legends League Cricket so far. Gujarat Giants have won two in two matches but their skipper has failed in both of them.
2) Muttiah Muralitharan:
Muttiah Muralitharan plays for Manipal Tigers in the tournament and has not been at his best so far. The Sri Lankan legend has struggled to make an impact and has picked only three wickets in the tournament. Despite having a good economy rate and a two-for, he has not made a significant impact in the Legends league Cricket. The great will look to change things around in the coming matches.
3) Harbhajan Singh:
Harbhajan Singh is the skipper of the Manipal Tigers team and the team has performed poorly in the tournament so far. Singh’s own performances haven’t inspired a lot of confidence either. Speaking of his records in the ongoing season, the Indian spinner has picked only three wickets in the tournament. Harbhajan Singh has failed both as a player and as a skipper in the tournament so far.
