India and New Zealand locked horns in the third T20I on November 22, Tuesday and the Men in Blue were brimming with confidence post their emphatic win in the second T20I played on Sunday.

However, the Men in Blue team management snubbed Sanju Samson in the third match yet again and fans, who took cognizance of the same, left no stone unturned to slam the team management.

There has been no clarification from either the team management either on why the talented batter is getting snubbed over and over again although fans speculate that it is a clear case of bias. Samson, who is yet to get a proper run in the Indian team, has always given his best for the team and many opined it would have been a great opportunity for him to represent India against the Black Caps.

‘Indian cricket board, don’t ruin Sanju Samson’s life’

Samson, who has represented India in 6 T20Is this year, has gathered 179 runs in the format so far at an average of around 44 and at an impressive strike rate of 158.40. Fans, on the other hand, requested that the board should clarify his snub and added that they should not ruin the batter’s life.

As things stand, India were forced to bowl first after losing the toss and the Indian skipper, Hardik Pandya, clarified that they wanted to bowl anyway. Saying that he does not worry about the climate, Pandya added that he and his men are well aware of the pitch dimensions.

“We wanted to bowl first anyway, so we got what we wanted. I think the pitch will remain the same for the entire 40 overs, but with the grass on it, there could be some lateral movement for our pacers. We do keep the dimensions in mind, but we do have the skill-set in our bowling line-up. We can’t think too much about the conditions – One change, Harshal comes in place of Washington Sundar,” Pandya was quoted as saying at the toss.

As things stand, let us take a look at a few Twitter reactions to Samson getting snubbed:
