Pakistan team players are busy with the 8th edition of the Pakistan Super League, which is currently underway. Babar Azam’s Peshawar Zalmi met Lahore Qalandars in the last encounter at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore in the 15th match.

Before the game, Lahore’s star pacer, Haris Rauf and Babar Azam were seen laughing about how the pacer hasn’t claimed the wickets of some of the top batters. The list included Babar himself, former Indian skipper Virat Kohli, and New Zealand’s white-ball captain Kane Williamson.

“No matter what happens, I just need to take your wicket! Only you and Kohli are the exception right now. Williamson was saved from slip twice. But I have these 3-4 players in my mind,” Haris told his Pakistan team skipper.

“But you have got me in Practice sessions. Why don’t you consider those?” Babar hilariously questioned. “Nah. I need your wicket in the match,” the pacer said, bursting into laughter.

In the meantime, a moment between Virat and Haris will be etched in history. The incident took place in the group-stage encounter between India and Pakistan in the 20-20 World Cup 2022. Kohli delivered the best innings of his career. He scored 82 runs in 53 balls to lead his team to victory in a chase that appeared extremely difficult to achieve. In the penultimate over, he hit Rauf for consecutive sixes, which completely changed the game.

The innings is widely regarded as the best T20 innings of all time. He was in red-hot form throughout the tournament and ended as the highest run-scorer. While India was knocked out in the semi-final, Pakistan lost to England in the final.

As for the video of Rauf, fans brutally trolled him for his comments. They opined that he would not be able to claim Virat Kohli’s wicket. “Kohli toh dene se raha bhai tujhe, zimbu se hi khush reh,” wrote a fan.
