In a thrilling match on Tuesday at the Ekana Sports Stadium, Lucknow Super Giants upset Mumbai Indians and advanced to the 2023 Indian Premier League playoffs. Until the LSG bowlers valiantly fought back and Mohsin Khan produced a magnificent final over and protected 10 runs to seal the victory for the hosts, MI was coasting along in their pursuit.
On a track that played far more effectively than previous pitches in Lucknow, the home team got off to a bad start, losing three of their wickets in the first seven overs. He allowed just 5 runs when MI required to score 11 after giving away 21 runs in his opening two overs. This was an important win for his side as the team climbed to third on the table.
