Jasprit Bumrah’s wife Sanjana Ganesan trolls fan after body shaming comment on social media
Team India pacer Jasprit Bumrah and anchor Sanjana Ganesan got married on 15th March 2021.
Following a short break, Jasprit Bumrah will return to play when the third Test match against England begins in Rajkot on Thursday. With three Tests remaining, the series is tied at one. England, led by Ben Stokes, won the first Test, while Rohit Sharma’s team won the second Test.
The second Test saw pacer Jasprit Bumrah take nine wickets, and he was instrumental in helping India tie the series. Like other members of the Indian cricket squad, Jasprit Bumrah had some quality family time following the match.
He even shared a photo of himself and his spouse Sanjana Ganesan on social media, writing, “Happiness is here.”The celebrity duo had their first child in September 2023.
The couple posted a reel for one of their brand promotions. Whilst, the comment section was full of wholesome replies, there were some unexpected comments as well. One of the Instagram user’s who follows the duo posted a shameful comment under their new post. The user wrote, “Bhabhi moti lag rahi hai (You are looking fat).”
Sanjana Ganesan gave a hilarious but much-needed reply to the hate comment. She wrote, “School ki science textbook toh yaad hoti nahi hai tumse, bada auraton ke bodies ke baare mein comment kar raho ho. Bhaago yaha se (You can’t even remember school science textbooks, how dare you comment on women’s bodies. Run away).”
“He takes wickets on those docile pitches: Dale Steyn on Jasprit Bumrah
Dale Steyn, the legendary pacer from South Africa, recently gave Jasprit Bumrah admiration for his amazing bowling. When considering Bumrah’s versatility, Steyn emphasised his unconventional yet potent bowling approach.
The former South African pacer added that, “I remember saying ages back that a good yorker bowled in India or South Africa or Australia remains a good yorker because you take the surface out of it, doesn’t matter where you bowled it. You take the pitch away and I think that’s one thing that he’s done really well. All round he’s a fantastic bowler. And it’s no surprise with his skiddy kind of action that he’s got that. He takes wickets on those docile pitches, so he’s fantastic.”
