Bravo said that he would look to pass on the information to the next generation before calling it a time in cricket.

This is a short but competitive tournament: Dwayne Bravo

The Caribbean allrounder said that it is a short tournament, although admitting to the competitiveness of the contest. One has to agree that the teams look strong and the MI Emirates are the early favourites to clinch a win in the inaugural season, although the other teams might play spoilsport.

“It’s important for me to pass on whatever knowledge that I have about the game to my teammates and develop the next generation of cricketers. This is a short tournament, but it’s going to be a competitive one,” Bravo was quoted as saying in the press conference. Moeen Ali, the England allrounder and skipper of the Sharjah Warriors team, said that they would look to give it their all and clinch the title in the inaugural season.

“We’ll look to play some good cricket and we are here to win. We want to do well particularly in Sharjah since it’s our home ground. We are looking forward to enjoying our cricket,” Ali was quoted as saying in the press conference. It remains to be seen if the fans could witness high-quality games, although, it is understandable that it might happen with world-class players taking part in the contest.
