After picking up an adductor injury, David Warner will not play in the last Twenty20 International match versus New Zealand in Auckland. However, he should be well in time for the IPL 2024 to begin next month. He was given a rest for the second Twenty20 International on Friday as an element of Australia’s series-long rotation plan.

It is anticipated that Warner would recover in seven to ten days. Warner’s career as a bilateral international player comes to an end with his absence from the series finale; he will retire from Australia’s Australian team in time for the T20 World Cup in June. Key players to be rested for final T20I against New Zealand?

Matt Short is anticipated to make another appearance. He participated in the first Wellington encounter but did not contribute with the bat or the ball. There’s a chance Matthew Wade will assume leadership in the event Mitch Marsh is rested before the Test series.
