After scoring the winning runs for Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2023, Ravindra Jadeja is back on national duty. After the wait of two years, India reached the final of the ongoing WTC final. The game is being played at The Oval as we speak. While the Indian fans are cheering for the team to win the game, two spectators were caught holding the placard thanking Jadeja for IPL 2023.

This has angered the fans to a nauseating degree. They feel that the cash-rich league is now over and it is time for all Indian fans to get behind the national side.

Ravindra Jadeja is the lone spinner in the India-playing XI

Meanwhile, Jadeja has been included in India’s playing XI for the ongoing WTC final against Australia. He is the lone spinner in the team while Ravichandran Ashwin has been left out. The World Number One Test side has included four pacers in the team. They have won the toss and elected to bowl first in the ongoing summit.

“Its always been tough as Ashwin has been such a match winner for us over the years and leaving him on such an occasion has been a tough decision but you got to do the things that is needed for the team and eventually we came up with that decision. Ajinkya Rahane brings a lot to the table for us. A lot of experience playing in these conditions. He has done well for the team playing 80 odd Test matches. Yes he has been out for a while but the experience he has, can change all of that,” he concluded.

Australia Team

DA Warner, UT Khawaja, M Labuschagne, SPD Smith, TM Head, C Green, AT Carey (WK), MA Starc, PJ Cummins (C), NM Lyon, SM Boland

India Team

RG Sharma (C), Shubman Gill, CA Pujara, V Kohli, AM Rahane, KS Bharat (WK), RA Jadeja, SN Thakur, UT Yadav, Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj
