Skyexch.net to be associate sponsor of India’s first MMA-based reality show, Kumite 1 Warrior Hunt
Sunil Shetty will host the first MMA-based reality show in India.
The success of professional sporting events like the Indian T20 League, Kabaddi League and others has led others to take a jump into the foray. Toyam Industries, a sports marketing company has launched a Mixed Martial Arts-based reality show called the Kumite 1 Warrior Hunt.
The show will be hosted by Suniel Shetty, the shooting for which has already begun. Skyexch.net has been announced as the associate sponsor of the Kumite 1 Warrior Hunt show. The dates for the release of the show are not yet revealed.
Kumite, a Japanese word, that means ‘grappling hands’ is one of the three main sections of Karate training. The Kumite 1 League was developed as a sustainable youth development catalyst for change in India. The league in its official statement says, “Our mission is to unleash real-life superheroes who ignite the nation with hope, dream, inspiration and strength.”
An introductory event was held on 28 September 2018 at the National Sports Club of India (NSCI) Dome in Mumbai. The legendary boxer Mike Tyson was present as the brand ambassador of the league where the late Bappi Lahiri composed a special jingle for the boxer.
In a new announcement, Toyam Industries has announced Kumite 1 Warrior Hunt, India’s first ever MMA Talent Hunt and Spots Reality Show. The show is soon going to be launched on MX Player in form of a Web Series. Sunil Shetty has been roped in as the host for the show and shooting has already begun.
