Team News

Delhi: The team is coming off a big win against Kolkata in a high-scoring game. The likes of David Warner, Prithvi Shaw and Kuldeep Yadav were the starts of the win. Expect them to go with an unchanged playing XI.

Key Players:

David Warner: The left-hander is one of the most successful overseas players in the league. He showed his class against Kolkata with 61 off 45 balls. He will be keen to do well once again.

Mustafizur Rahman: The left-arm medium-pacer is one of the most skilful death bowlers. Rahman has been brilliant for Delhi this season and will be eyeing another decent outing against Bangalore.

Probable XI: David Warner, Prithvi Shaw, Sarfaraz Khan, Rishabh Pant (c & wk), Lalit Yadav, Rovman Powell, Axar Patel, Shardul Thakur, Kuldeep Yadav, Mustafizur Rahman, Khaleel Ahmed

Bangalore: The team lost to Chennai in the high-scoring game. The team missed the services of Harshal Patel and conceded over 200 runs against Chennai. However, even after being 50/4, chasing 217, the team scored 193/9, with the likes of Shahbaz Ahmed, Suyash Prabhudesai, and Dinesh Karthik not willing to give up. The team will take that positive from the game. It will be interesting to see if Harshal Patel gets a game or not.

Key Players:

Dinesh Karthik: The right-hander has been in a tremendous form with 131 runs in five games. He has come in at difficult times and bailed the team out of trouble. Karthik will be a player to watch out for.

Wanindu Hasaranga: The all-rounder from Sri Lanka has been phenomenal this season. The batters have struggled to pick his variations. He will be a trump card for Faf du Plessis against Delhi.

Probable XI: Faf du Plessis (c), Anuj Rawat, Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell, Shahbaz Ahmad, Suyash Prabhudessai, Dinesh Karthik (wk), Wanindu Hasaranga, Akash Deep/Harshal Patel, Mohammed Siraj, Josh Hazlewood
