The rescheduled fifth Test between India and England has laid the groundwork for an exciting limited-overs clash between the two countries. With Rohit Sharma returning to the side, India would be looking to move from the Test loss and get back to winning ways.

Let’s look at the preview for the upcoming first T20I match between India and England.

India vs England First T20I Team News:

India:

The Indian team is yet to look like a well-gelled team on the pitch. Their recently-concluded T20I series against South Africa was a 2-2 draw and the India- Ireland T20I series came very very close to suffering the same fate. With too many changes in and around the team, the Indian white-ball team suffers from an overflow of talent. Faces keep on changing every couple of matches and the team suffers as a result of it. The team that played against Ireland would be available to face the English side, with Test players being rested for the first T20I.

England:

The English side have won four Tests on the trot playing under the new philosophy of BazBall. On the other hand, England’s white-ball side has already had an aggressive approach to their game for quite a while now. Thus, they would be looking to dominate the Men in the blue. Jos Butler has been named the white-ball captain after the retirement of Eoin Morgan.

India Probable XI: Rohit Sharma (C), Ishan Kishan (wk), Sanju Samson, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Deepak Hooda, Dinesh Karthik, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Harshal Patel, Yuzvendra Chahal, Avesh Khan.

England Probable XI: Jos Buttler (C and wk), Jason Roy, Dawid Malan, Liam Livingstone, Moeen Ali, Sam Curran, Chris Jordan, David Willey, Reece Topley, Tymal Mills, Matthew Parkinson.
